TREKKING IN TORRES DEL PAINE
| The Big Circuit: |

This route goes along the Paine Massif. It starts at the Laguna Amarga care center and passes the Paine Lake to the Seron campsite. Then, it continues to the campsite and shelter of the Dickson Lake. Then, it borders the Los Perros riverside and reaches a glacier. The next section is the Paso Sector to the Paso campsite through the Grey Lake.The journey continues towards the south and ends at the Grey shelter. Then, bordering the Grey Lake, visitors reach the Montaña Paine Grande shelter. There are two options to finish the trip: the first is to walk 18 km until the park’s administration office. The second is to take a catamaran at the Montaña Paine shelter to the Pudeto area (20 min.).

This route goes along Lake Nordenskiöld through the valley of the Ascencio River until the Paine towers. From this place, visitors can reach the Los Cuernos shelter and theGrey glacier, and then return to the care center at Lake Pehoe.

| Hosteria Las Torres – Las Torres Base |
| The area of Las Torres offers a campsite, shelter and inn, making it an excellent base for multiple excursions. The Chilean shelters are located two hours away from the base of the towers. They have an amazing view into the background of the towers and the lake originated from the glaciers. |

| This hike goes through the Lenga Forest and offers a beautiful view of the glaciers and Lake Los Perros. From the campsite, visitors can walk an hour to the Puma glacier. The ground is wet. |

This is a main path through the swamps. Generally, the path is covered with snow and the descent is fairly steep. Extreme hikes are carried out in this area. It is a zone of strong winds with a spectacular view of the Grey glacier and part of the Patagonia ice fields.

After a difficult climb, visitors come to a beautiful road with a view to the lake and the Grey glacier. Then, they see the path to Lenga, Coigueand, the Ñirre forests and the lagoons, all beautiful sites that allow reaching the Pehoe lake.

It is recommended to stay at the British campsite in order to see a magical sunset on the French valley. This place also offers a privileged view of the Hoja and Espada hills, Cuernos Norte, and Aleta de Tiburón, among others.

This is an excellent opportunity to hike to more unknown areas, with a view of the glaciers and the Paine Massif. The sight of huemules (native deer) is possible.

The hike starts at the proximities of the administration’s office, by the Feria cliff. During the trip, the Lenga forests can be seen everywhere, and they adjoin with small lagoons filled with birds. It is also possible to see the native fauna of the area. Following this route, visitors can walk to Sierra del Toro. They can also see the Paine Horns and a part of the south riverside of the Sarmiento Lake.
