La Cruz del Tercer Milenio (the Cross of the Third Millennium)

The monument is a cross erected as a symbol of Catholic Jubilee in 2000, on the highest hill in the city. The inhabitants of the city donated cement for the construction of the 103 meter structure, the tallest monument in South America. The structure has three levels. The first is an area of worship with a large chapel, museum and a photography exhibition, which shows the construction of the monument. The second level consists of a square with ten columns representing the Ten Commandments, along with a replica of Michelangelo's Pieta. The top floor has observation decks between twenty and seventy meter high, making it one of the best places to watch the bay.
Mohammed VI Cultural Center"
It is a scale replica of the Koutoubia Mosque in Morocco. It was built with stone, marble gray, white and pink masonry; it is a 36 meter tower.
