ROBINSON CRUSOE
Juan Fernandez Archipelago
Región de ValparaisoRobinson Crusoe
Robinson Crusoe Island was formed about three million years ago when there was an expulsion of liquid magma from the depths of the ocean. Later, other similar eruptions created two islands, Santa Clara and Alejandro Selkirk Island. These three islands form the archipelago of Juan Fernandez, which is 667 km from the continent. Its geography is characterized by a rugged and mountainous terrain and has a Mediterranean climate.
