Yelcho Patagonia Lodge

The Lodge receives fishermen in an infrastructure made with native wood of 1.000 mts2, and in between the Lake, the Native Forest and the Southern Highway (not at all a highway).

Rooms

It has eight comfortable double rooms that have telephone, private bath and a view of the Lake, an ample dining area that has a great selection of typical and international dishes, a bar with a wide variety of drinks, liqueurs, and great selection of Chilean wines.

It also has a Great Room, deck, Satellite TV, Internet and Central Heating, so that the fishermen have all commodities that are necessary after an exciting fishing day.

All the fishing programs include transportation to the Lodge, a welcome drink, all meals and of course, the fishing outings.

El Lodge has a Quincho, a place specially designed to cook outdoors, here the typical Patagonian meal, Asado al Palo (roasted lamb) is prepared, usually on the last night.

Fishing

The main attraction of the area is the fishing and the water sports, in the lake as well as in the surrounding rivers. For sport fishing, the sector offers abundance in species such as the Fario and Rainbow trout. For this activity, a boat service for 3 persons including guide is offered.

Here you'll find the way to practice a lot of activities such us mountain biking excursions at lake Yelcho surrounding area, horseback riding, guided hiking, mountaineering and trekking to the magnificent Yelcho glacier. It is also possible to visit El Amarillo thermal baths and Caví spring waters. At the end of the day ping pong table, our game area or a toast in our warm bar will be awaiting you.

RATES

Rates per room (Breakfast included)

The following rates are applicable until December 31st 2011

• Fees are per room per night and include breakfast, in U.S. dollars (US$) and equivalent in Chilean pesos (CL).

• Fees are expressed in American Dollars and apply to foreign tourists (properly documented with passport or equivalent). These fees consider a tax exemption of the Value Added Tax ("Impuesto al Valor Agregado" or IVA, in Chile). For residents of Chile, a 19% IVA must be added to the fees previously mentioned.
