Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa is a beautiful ecolodge integrated with the surrounding scenery, reminiscent of the architecture of the island of Chiloé with elements of wood, stone, and tiles. All of the enclosures of the building face the coast with the aim of making the most of the beautiful view offered by the bay. The warm and simple décor gives it a familiar feel that invites you to enjoy your stay in a setting favored by nature.

Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa is the base from which you can enjoy a variety of activities: explore the lush temperate rainforest, journey along the Carretera Austral, discover the Queulat National Park, sail between Patagonian islands and fjords, enjoy thermal waters, relax with thalassotherapy treatments or massages in the spa, and delight yourself with the delicate gastronomy and fine selection of Chilean wines.

Rooms

The ecolodge’s cozy  rooms have a living space and balcony that face the bay and have central heating, safe, hairdryer, telephone, and hot, thermal water in the bathroom. There are no televisions as a way of inviting our guests to disconnect from daily routine.

Gastronomy

The gastronomy in Puyuhuapi Lodge & Spa is defined as a fusion of flavors that mix typical Patagonian and Chilean preparations with Mediterranean cooking. With the aim of optimizing supply logistics, the exquisite and delicate daily menus are made up of two alternatives of starter, main course and dessert. Once a week, the spectacular gourmet five-course dinner takes prominence, where products, flavors, textures and colors are combined, and all accompanied by a fine selection of Chilean wines.

Explore the legendary Chilean Patagonia in the Aysén region and admire the majestic nature in its original state, where tourists can spot wild birds together with exotic species of mammal that enhance the beauty of the scenery in this area. It could be an adventure sailing by kayak through the channels and between islands, going out in search of seals and Chilean dolphins, walking through the woods and mountain ranges of incredible vegetation to admire the Ventisquero Colgante (Hanging Glacier) and millennial glaciers, bird-watching, including the pleasant chucao tapaculo or the black woodpecker, or visiting the picturesque town of Puyuhuapi and learning about its culture and its handcrafted rug factory. RATES

Rates per room (Breakfast included)

The following rates are applicable until December 31st 2011

• Fees are per room per night and include breakfast, in U.S. dollars (US$) and equivalent in Chilean pesos (CL).

• Fees are expressed in American Dollars and apply to foreign tourists (properly documented with passport or equivalent). These fees consider a tax exemption of the Value Added Tax ("Impuesto al Valor Agregado" or IVA, in Chile). For residents of Chile, a 19% IVA must be added to the fees previously mentioned.
