El Galpon

This is a place to enjoy nature: You can have a stroll over the desert, horseback ride across the valley or visit astronomical centers near the hotel, equipped with next-generation telescopes that will allow you to observe the moon and other planets with all their splendour. You could also have some rest next to the swimming pool and enjoy an exquisit pisco sour from Valle de Elqui, or enjoy a refreshing massage and reiki session.

The bar invites the guests to taste one of the several drinks and cocktails made out of local fruits from the region, or taste the hotels creative cuisine.

Cabins

El Galpon has eleven cabains, completely equipped and decorated with local and simple craftwork. The hotel offers room service and the possibility to enjoy a drink at the bar, which serves international drinks as well as typical beverages of the area like pisco, mango sour or other drinks made with delicious fruits of the region, such as papayas.

RATES

Rates per room (Breakfast included)

The following rates are applicable until December 31st 2011

• Fees are per room per night and include breakfast, in U.S. dollars (US$) and equivalent in Chilean pesos (CL).

• Fees are expressed in American Dollars and apply to foreign tourists (properly documented with passport or equivalent). These fees consider a tax exemption of the Value Added Tax ("Impuesto al Valor Agregado" or IVA, in Chile). For residents of Chile, a 19% IVA must be added to the fees previously mentioned.
